معاف کر دینا اچھی بات ہے۔ مگر اس کا ہر گز مطلب یہ نہیں کہ قاتل ، بد دیانت اور تحزیب کاروں کو معاف کر دیا جائے۔ اس سے معاشرے میں بے چینی، لا قانونیت اور تشدد جنم لیتا ہے۔ سوال یہ پیدا ہوتا ہے کہ معاشرے کی اصلاح ان سزاؤں سے ہو سکتی ہے۔ بظاہر یہ دوست لگتا ہے مگر جرائم کی وجوہات کو ختم کرنا بہت ضروری ہے۔
